Marking the first anniversary of the brc-20 launch, we express our sincere gratitude and best wishes to our users. Your support and enthusiasm have significantly shaped our journey. We look forward to further advancements together. Thank you for being a valued part of our community!

Recently, we’ve received numerous inquiries regarding our latest developments. This article aims to provide a deeper understanding of where UniSat stands today and to express our gratitude for your continued support and enthusiasm.

UniSat App

  • We’re currently undergoing a security review and navigating through the Google Play review process.
  • Before the official release, we’ll be inviting a select group of users to test the app and provide us with thoughtful feedback. Interested in beta testing and are willing to share constructive feedback? Please reach out to us on Discord.

BRC20 and brc20-swap

  • BRC-20 Update

We’ve initiated proposals for self-minting and burning functionalities, laying the technical groundwork for issuing stablecoins on the BRC-20 protocol.

Additionally, this feature update will be used to practise the new SOP process, facilitating future iterations of BRC-20.

  • brc20-swap Standardization Update — Advancing within the framework of L1F

We’re actively collaborating with indexers to fully advance the development of the Swap feature. It’s progressing well, but a specific timeframe is still being finalized and will be announced next week by L1F.

Following the standardization of the swap, we will open-source our sequencer and gradually introduce permissionless rollups.

For a more detailed timeline of these updates, please tune into the Ordinals Show where @domodata and @lorenzonical will participate on next Monday.

Fractal Bitcoin

The testnet of fractal bitcoin has been operational for a month internally. Due to the consistency of the consensus with the mainnet, interfacing with wallets is simple, akin to MetaMask’s extensive support of Ethereum and its L2s and sidechains.

The work of wallet integration has been completed. It’s easy to switch back and forth between the mainnet and fractal bitcoin.

An innovative mining approach (named Cadence Mining) has been adopted to secure the network.

More details about fractal bitcoin like asset bridging, applications and related updates will be shared in due course.

Additional Insights

  • Cursed Inscriptions

We’ve completed our development and we’re now in the testing phase, close to launching.

  • Runes

Currently, we’re evaluating the potential and workload necessary to incorporate Runes into our ecosystem.

Your support and feedback are what drive us forward. Stay tuned for more updates, and don’t hesitate to reach out with questions or feedback. Together, we’re building a more interconnected and user-friendly blockchain ecosystem.
